HR made a welcome return to Cubs at the beginning of the autumn term to tell us about her time as an assistant teacher at a school in Kaliro in Uganda. In autumn 2007 she helped us run an evening of Marbles Challenges to raise money for sports equipment for the Ugandan school to use. The Cubs enthusiatically met the challenges and their families and friends gave generously and as a result, as you can see from the picture, the Ugandan school children are able to play their favourite game!
