Our annual photoshow, showcasing all of the fantastic things that our Cubs have got up to during the year.
Thank you to everyone who has made this another amazing year!
I can’t believe how much fun we’ve had this year – we started the year sleeping in caves 100m underground and finished the year 1000m up in Snowdonia, and have done a LOT in between!
Massive thanks to:
* the scouts for being great fun and having a brilliant scouting attitude
* the parents for supporting everything we do
* the leaders for making everything possible
* the exec committee for the behind-the-scenes work in keeping our group fantastic!

This weekend, the Beavers and the Cubs went camping in Bournemouth. They spent the weekend collecting stars by doing loads of exciting activities including; climbing, agility trail, low team challenges, backwoods cooking and much more. Some of the leaders even took part in Bushtucker Trials, which involved eating lots of creepy-crawlies.
Well done to everyone who came along!
Seasonal Spring Clean
We’re having a seasonal Spring Clean for Saturday 18th April, and we need your help! There will be jobs for both adults and children to contribute to, so the whole family can join in! Please click here for more details.
Summer Fete and AGM
It’s been a busy term for the Cubs. With three district competitions, a visit to St. Mary’s Football Stadium, Cubs Have Got Talent, The Great British Cub Quiz and a surprise trip to Scoops, there’s not been a dull moment!
Our Cubs have earned a total of 140 badges this term, an average of 6 badges each, and all of the Cubs leaving us this term have earned their Chief Scout Silver Award! An amazing achievement.
The 14th Highfield Cub Scout Group is celebrating its centenary. Although Cub Scouting officially launched in 1916, records along with an original flag show that the 14th Highfield Wolf Cub Pack was formed as an experimental section two years earlier, on 30th January 1914.
In order to help mark the centenary, we will be compiling a book of memories from past and present cubs along with items to be place in a time capsule to be buried on the 6th July. We ask the wider community to share any memories or experiences that they have had as a part of the 14th by visiting the ‘Cubs – Centenary celebrations’ tab.
