Chief Scout Bronze Awards
Many congratulations to three of our Beaver Scouts who have managed to achieve their Bronze Chief Scout’s Award. This badge demonstrates that as a Beaver they have completed all of their challenge badges and tried lots of new activities. Their badges and certificates were presented at our last meeting by Grey Owl, our District Commissioner.
Kings of Christingle
December was a fun filled month for the Beavers, they all did a wonderful performance at the Christingle service, and everyone enjoyed our Pass the Parcel game.
Beaver Firemen!
Our Beavers visited St Mary’s fire station, where they all had the chance to look around the station, sit in an engine and play with a fire hose!! They also learnt what to do if there’s a fire in your home and how to make an emergency 999 call. Hopefully all the children have taken away some valuable life skills from our visit. By Monsoon.

We had fun at Beavers when the Bee-man came to tell us about beekeeping and making honey!

Congratulations to Quinn and Gregory who have earned their Chief Scout Bronze Award!
Children in Need
Well done our Beaver Scouts who raised £35 for the BBC’s Children in Need appeal 2009 by icing and selling cakes at the Scout Hut on Tuesday.
Beaver Loggerheads 2009
Four Fantastic Beavers from the 14th joined Beavers from eight other Colonies in Southampton to enjoy a day of fun and adventure at Wilverley Campsite in the New Forest. They did everything from tracking to cooking fish, from water fights to eating snakes!
