This weekend, the Beavers and the Cubs went camping in Bournemouth. They spent the weekend collecting stars by doing loads of exciting activities including; climbing, agility trail, low team challenges, backwoods cooking and much more. Some of the leaders even took part in Bushtucker Trials, which involved eating lots of creepy-crawlies.

Well done to everyone who came along!for website

Cubs Spring Term Round-up

It’s been a busy term for the Cubs. With three district competitions, a visit to St. Mary’s Football Stadium, Cubs Have Got Talent, The Great British Cub Quiz and a surprise trip to Scoops, there’s not been a dull moment!

Centenary Celebrations!

The 14th Highfield Cub Scout Group is celebrating its centenary. Although Cub Scouting officially launched in 1916, records along with an original flag show that the 14th Highfield Wolf Cub Pack was formed as an experimental section two years earlier, on 30th January 1914.

In order to help mark the centenary, we will be compiling a book of memories from past and present cubs along with items to be place in a time capsule to be buried on the 6th July. We ask the wider community to share any memories or experiences that they have had as a part of the 14th by visiting the ‘Cubs – Centenary celebrations’ tab.
