28 million scouts worldwide celebrated the Scouting Centennary on 1st August 2007. In Southampton City Centre local groups paraded along the precinct and renewed their promises by the Bargate.

Others of our group were attending the Sunrise ceremony at the H007 camp in the New Forest along with 3000 others, and two of our Scouts were at the International Jamboree in Essex with 40,000 others!
